Touching the Earth: A Nature Walk & Meditation in the Forest with Satish Kumar and KFBG Guide
Join us for a half-day journey combined with deep nature walk and meditation to connect with nature and inner peace, led by Satish Kumar, along with our experienced guide from Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG). As Satish himself says in his book of Elegant Simplicity, "Nature is our teacher…… at least once a week, go to the sea, or to the forest to experience Nature, to learn, transform, and become agents of change."
During this journey, you will slow down, open your heart, and immerse yourself in the living forest, using all your senses to connect with nature and find tranquillity. As you walk through the forest, our guides and Satish will also help you explore the critical role of soil in sustaining life on earth. Soil represents nature and sustains the entire life-system, treating all living beings equally and feeding us all indiscriminately. By touching the soil, we experience nature and re-learn what soil is. Through this experience, we can transit from viewing nature as separate from us to seeing ourselves as a part of nature and embracing a more sustainable future.
